All are invited to come hear Jan Johnson speak on Thursday evening, October 23, on the topic "Anger Thrives When Buried Alive." Jan says, "Let's get real -- didn't Jesus get angry and want to strangle the Pharisees? We'll look at how Jesus handled frustrating situations and then how we can process anger and frustration with God (instead of hiding it from God) as well as how to become the kind of person who 'speaks the truth in love.'"
Jan is a writer, speaker and spiritual director who holds degrees in Christian education and spirituality. She has written seventeen books, including "Enjoying the Presence of God", "When the Soul Listens," "Savoring God's Word," as well as many magazine articles. She is also a frequent retreat and conference speaker. Jan has taught at PBC before, and many have commented on how they have been blessed by her teaching.
